excursions

I haven't got time to up date my diary, even I really wanted to do.

Last Saturday I went to Oxford with my students and the Regency Group.  It sounded like a tour group more than a study tour as I had espected.  Terrible.!!!  I don't thik like I was in England becasue there are about 50 Thai people here but Khun Lek seems happy with this college.  It's not my inspiration.  Although I accepted that the things that I have studied in class looks fantastic.  I mean it's like many things that are new for me but I don't like the ways the teachers teach.  If they did like this in Thailand I'm sure that the students would ignore them and  they wouldn't get anything. 

Anyway, let talk about the excursions again.  In Oxford I thought that I would see a lot of universities like in Cambridge, my favourite city, but it isn't.  The teacher took us to the Oxford story but it was closed so then we went to a museum but I forgot its name, it's like any other museums.  Then we were free for shopping, shopping again.  Almost 4 hrs for shopping!!

I just walked around with my students and bought some food for Nuae's birthday today.  On sunday I went to Stonehenge in Salisbury.  It's ok but I think Pimai in Korat is much more better.   It was very very cold and windy.  I almost died by the coldness.

Then did shopping again. There I spent 13 pounds for my family's souvenirs in the Poundland shop.  Everything is only 1 pound.  Cool!!! I think I won't buy more because they are enough for everyone in Bkk.

When we came back to the college we had dinner and then did laundry.  It took 2hrs to finish it because there are 2 laundromats and only one tumble dryer.  People wanted to do their laundry on Sunday, I see.

Today is a sunny day and I have more new friends who are teenagers in class.  The one next to me is from Denmark.  He is about 18 , very handsome and tall.  Ummmmm.....  Old lady you are...Think first!!!!

So it's time for lunch I think it isn't crowded now.

Ok.  I'm back from lunch.  I'll be free this afternoon, so I can do my piles of homework and prepare Nuae's birthday tonight.  I have to thank his mom who gave me 50 pounds for his birthday.  It made everyone have special food, fruits and drinks.  I spent only 24 pounds.  But tonight we can have strawberries from Spain, grapes and green apples from Chile.Ummmm.  Here there are no fruits in a meal, just some salad.  I mean the fruits that we can eat only fruits.  Yeahhhh...

P.S.  Today is the day that J  Tae comes back to Thailand.   I want to be back home......
